Just keep in mind that if you intend to sign in another country, you need to visit there in advance and find out what is needed for this, since conditions everywhere may be different and you need to be ready for this.
If you are worried that friends and relatives will be offended when they find out that you got married in secret, you can easily refer to the fact that you registered your marriage in another country and therefore did not invite anyone. It would be good to inform your parents of your intention, if only for ethical reasons. They are the closest people to you, no one will love you more than they.
