Traditionally, in our climate, the wedding season is from April to September. However, there are vapors for which freezing temperatures, snow and blizzards are not a hindrance. And if the registry office and restaurant part of the winter wedding scenario is not much different from the summer one, then photography in the cold season has its own nuances.
Instructions
Step 1
As a rule, a photo session at a wedding is combined with a walk (before the wedding ceremony or between it and a banquet). During this time interval from two to six hours, newlyweds often want to fit as many places as possible. It is important to take into account the geography and transport situation in the city: it is better to plan two stops than to stand the whole wedding in traffic jams. But here we are faced with the first nuance of winter shooting: in subzero temperatures it is difficult to be outside for more than twenty minutes in a row. Since red noses and ears do not adorn the newlyweds, limit the time spent on the streets. However, for a comfortable stay on the street, newlyweds and guests are advised to dress warmly. Brides get the opportunity to flaunt in fur coats and high boots. And such details as a shawl, gloves or muff will not only be a beautiful addition to the image, but also interesting accessories for photography.
Step 2
Winter type The beauty of winter shooting depends on the interesting nature. If there is an opportunity to plan a visit to the park or estate with picturesque snowdrifts and snow-covered trees. The day before, it is advisable to inspect the proposed shooting location for the presence of fluffy snow, the absence of slush and dirt.
Step 3
An unexpected twist: Shooting a winter wedding can be partially transferred to interiors. The walk can go to the museum of vintage cars, the planetarium or the manor palace. Original locations for photographing are suitable for themed weddings. A rare bride will be indifferent to the luxurious interiors of museums and estates. And the pictures taken in the botanical garden will be interesting to contrast in the album with street photos. Of course, such shooting must be agreed in advance.
