There are special wedding candles on sale, but they are not always able to please the tastes of the newlyweds, moreover, it is not always possible to find candles that match the style of the rest of the decoration. Decorating candles for a wedding on your own is easy - you just need to show your imagination.

Step 1
Think over in advance all the decoration of the celebration. Candles are a small decorative element, but they should be in harmony with the interior of the hall and with the decoration of the wedding table. Candles should harmoniously complement all this. If your wedding celebration has a specific theme (marine, for example), then candles should emphasize this theme.
Step 2
Draw a sketch of the future candles in accordance with the general decoration of the hall. Figure out what you need to complete the plan and stock up on decorative materials.
Step 3
Melt an unnecessary candle. The resulting liquid paraffin wax becomes a glue for jewelry. Pour the paraffin wax into a deep cup or saucepan. Remember that it hardens very quickly, so you need to either work very quickly or constantly heat it up.
Dip the candle in melted hot paraffin wax and start gluing the necessary parts - shells, pebbles, beads, etc. Let the paraffin set.
Step 4
Cast the candle yourself with some decorative touches. This option is suitable if, for example, you decide to steal candles with dried flowers. To do this, you will need a candle mold, which can be purchased from art and craft stores.
Melt the required amount of paraffin, pour flowers or something else into it, insert the wick into the mold and fill it with paraffin. Let cool.
You can also make a gel candle. In this case, all decorative elements will be clearly visible, as if they were in a glass bulb. To do this, you will need melted gel and a glass candle container.
Step 5
Try making a scrapbooking wedding candle. To do this, make an impression on tissue paper with a beautiful curly stamp, cut out the resulting figure. Using a glue stick, glue the pictures to a solid candle, wrap with wax paper and heat. Then decorate the candles with small satin ribbons and beads.
