The tables for calculating Easter were first invented in the 2nd century AD. But they were not accurate, since Easter is a mobile holiday. And he moves in accordance with the lunar calendar. And already in 280 A. D. it was decided that Easter could never be earlier than the vernal equinox. Therefore, it is customary to consider the date from him.
To begin with, we take a regular calendar and use it to look for the vernal equinox day. This is the name of a day in which the length of the day and the length of the night are two identical periods of time. As a rule, the day of the vernal equinox is called March 21 or 22.
