A wedding video is the perfect way to capture the beauty and timeline of a celebration. This is not only a video sequence in motion and with sound, it is a real full-length film of events with music and special effects. The video will forever preserve the magical moments of the ceremony, and thanks to the director's editing, it will be interesting to watch the film. If you do not intend to contact a professional videographer (although it is better not to save on this), you can shoot and edit the wedding yourself using simple tips.
Instructions
Step 1
Start your wedding photography with the bride getting ready. Take off everything: how she puts on her makeup, puts on a dress and shoes, does her hair. At the same time, in the film as a keepsake, you will capture the bride's maiden house, where she lived before marriage. The same can be taken from the groom: the process of ironing a shirt, choosing a tie, shaving and cleaning shoes. The easiest way to mount such a beginning of a wedding movie is to clip it to music. Then the scenes will not be drawn out, dynamic and funny.
Step 2
The ransom will have to be given equal attention. We can say that the wedding has already begun. Shoot everything: from the entrance of the wedding car to the house to the carrying of the bride out of the door. So that the video does not turn out to be lengthy and tedious, during editing without pity, cut out lengths, indistinct contests and tasks for redemption, and in some places the video can even be accelerated 2-3 times to give a comic effect.
Step 3
Young people are in the registry office, but the videographer must arrive there earlier than others in order to photograph the arrival of the wedding cortege and the solemn exit from the car of the newlyweds. During the wedding ceremony, a tripod will come in handy, since the wedding lasts at least 20 minutes, and the camera cannot be turned off for a second, so if you forget the tripod, you will have to hold it at outstretched hands. Shoot from one point, next to the reception desk. Do not remove the lens from the faces of the couple, only a smooth approach of the camera is allowed at the time of putting on the rings and kissing. Also, shoot the wedding dance in one shot, slowly walking around the couple, moving the camera closer and further away from their faces. If you filmed everything correctly, without shaking hands and sliding out the edges of the frame, this part of the editing ceremony will not require at all. Unless, you can slow down the frame and start up romantic music at the moment of a kiss and a solemn drinking of champagne.
Step 4
The walk of the young is an obligatory part of the film. You must continuously follow the newlyweds, guide them, put on mini-scenes in nature, in a museum, near monuments, etc. Shoot them from below, from above, from the side, play with the frame, lay them down on the grass, make them swing on a swing and run across the bridge. In general, become a full-fledged director. The more artistic you shoot, the better the wedding film will be. Editing this piece will take skill and patience. Here you can add all the special effects you have to the video, sprinkle a couple of roses and stars, add bells and angels. And it is imperative to mount all the scenes to romantic music with a clip, cutting, choosing only the brightest, best and most beautiful of what was filmed.
Step 5
By agreement with the bride and groom, a banquet is filmed. This is usually the hardest part of the camera job. Endless congratulations, a series of gifts, kisses and never-ending toastmaster, contests and dances. Filming all this can be so tedious that an amateur cameraman, after the first drink, throws the camera and joins in the fun. A professional cannot afford that. It is not necessary to shoot congratulations to everyone in a row, it is enough to capture the words of the parents of the bride and groom and close friends, as well as the final announcement of the collected amount and gifts. Only the brightest and most iconic ones should be removed from the contests: the ransom of the bride, the dance of the young, the sale of the cake, etc. Editing all of this is even more tedious. If you are not a professional, just cut off the lengths, delete empty frames (table shooting, vague contests, congratulations from distant relatives, eyeliners and rhymes of the toastmaster). Reduce this part as much as possible, otherwise it will be simply impossible to revise it in its entirety later.
Step 6
The film can be ended with a music video, collected from the best shots of the entire wedding film. Assemble a short film to the favorite music of the newlyweds - a wedding in a condensed form, taking a couple of shots from the ransom, the wedding ceremony, a walk, a banquet and the wedding dance of the young.
