Since childhood, New Year has always been associated with the smell of tangerines, pine needles, chocolate, spices and vanilla. How to quickly recreate the festive atmosphere? Let's try to flavor the air in the apartment with orange, spices and coffee. After all, natural aromas cannot be compared with artificial ones from aerosols and sachets.

It is necessary

  • Orange (or lemon, tangerine, lime, grapefruit) 1 pc
  • Cloves (spice) 1 pack
  • Powdered cinnamon 1 pack
  • Ground coffee 50 g
  • Tea bags 10 pcs. (better aromatic: with mint, cinnamon, lemon balm, bergamot).
  • Green tea (pack of 100 g).

Instructions

Step 1

Create a pomander. This is a fragrant ball of citrus and spices that emits a very pleasant smell for a long time (up to 3 months!)

Take any citrus fruit, prick it in many places with a toothpick, sprinkle with cinnamon powder, rub the cinnamon thoroughly into the holes. Then stick a fragrant spice - cloves into the holes. We've got a cute "hedgehog". Set it aside in a dark place for a couple of weeks, so that it is soaked in spices and slightly dried. We hang the finished pomander on a ribbon and enjoy the wonderful citrus-spicy aroma.

Step 2

We fill the apartment with the divine aroma of coffee.

Put 50 g of ground coffee in a hot frying pan and lightly fry it.

All foreign unpleasant odors are quickly replaced by a powerful coffee aroma.

To prolong the smell, place open vases and saucers of coffee around the apartment and fill them with fresh portions of freshly ground beans every 3 days.

Step 3

Tea can also serve as a good flavoring agent. Hang 3 tea bags each (preferably green with natural flavors) in doorways or in places of air movement (under the chandelier). Tea neutralizes odors very well.

If the room needs more flavoring, prepare the tea in a different way.

Pour a pack (100 g) of green tea with a cup of water and heat for 10 minutes over low heat under a lid. Once the tea leaf has swollen well, bring the vessel into the room and open the lid. A remarkably fresh tart aroma will quickly fill your apartment.
