The Christmas tree is one of the indispensable attributes of the New Year's holiday. If you have made a choice in favor of a natural Christmas tree, it is very important to choose the right forest beauty, but it is equally important to correctly install it - it will be a shame if the Christmas tree decorated with toys overturns at the most inopportune moment.
It is necessary
Planks and wooden blocks, a hacksaw for wood, a drill, a hammer, nails, screws, rope (fishing line); old office chair
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to set up a tree is with the tree itself. Saw off the bottom of the tree along with the branches, turn it over and use it instead of a cross. Drill a hole in the ends of the butt of the Christmas tree, insert a rod into it, onto which you put the Christmas tree. Clean the branches of such an impromptu cross from needles and trim a little so that the tree stands upright.
Step 2
The construction of the second stand consists of four equal-sized pieces of board, knocked down with nails, as well as two inserts that form a nest for the tree trunk. Nail one of the inserts with nails, and fasten the second with a dowel at a distance depending on the thickness of the butt. Secure the butt with a wedge.
Step 3
You can make another type of cross from four bars. In the middle of the blocks, cut to half (the width of the cut will be equal to the width of the block). Connect the bars into a lock. Make the support of the cross from four pieces of a thick board.
Step 4
In some cases, the tree may not be placed on the floor, but hung over it. In the hanging position, the tree can be fixed with a metal tube or a stick that rests on the baseboard. Fix the tube in an inclined position with a guy in the form of a rope or thick line. Hang the tree at the end of the tube with the top of the trunk, securing the rope above its center of gravity.
Step 5
You can make a beautiful mobile stand for a Christmas tree from a cross from a broken old office chair. Carefully disassemble the chair, leaving the support on the casters. Use the released sleeve as a socket for the tree trunk.
