Start early

You will certainly have time for everything, and if something remains unfinished, the world will not turn upside down from this. Imagine how grandmothers were preparing for the New Year, who could not afford to postpone the purchase of groceries until the last day. Follow their example and start shopping early, because in the last days before the holiday it will take much longer.
You can buy drinks, canned food, cake cakes, cereals, some fruits and vegetables in advance. It is possible, even if you do not have a car, to bring all purchases from the hypermarket in one go. During your daily purchases, just buy something for the New Year - today it will be a jar of peas or corn, tomorrow - cakes and condensed milk for the cake, the day after tomorrow - rice and crab sticks.
By the way, it is very useful to estimate in advance what exactly will be on your festive table. Make a menu, think about which dishes you will cook yourself, and which you will buy in a hypermarket or order a specialized company. Buy gifts in advance, because on the last day the cars that your beloved nephew wants so much may not be on sale. In the hypermarket, you can buy both pyrotechnics and decorations, and the sale of New Year's goods usually begins in November.
When to clean
An apartment, which is constantly kept in order, does not take long to prepare for the holiday. Do a general cleaning on the last weekend before the New Year, so that just before the holiday, all that remains is to quickly wash the floors and wipe the dust. Curtains and bedspreads can be washed two weeks before the celebration. Do not put off until the last day and throw away old things - they can be taken out in the trash at any time of the year.
Don't take it all on yourself
Any work is good if everyone does it together. Think about what you will have to do and what you can entrust your husband and children. Make a list of what needs to be done and choose who is responsible. For example, while you are messing around in the kitchen, your family might be busy cleaning, decorating a room, or making carnival costumes. Children can also be entrusted with decorating festive dishes, they will do it with pleasure. It is better to put the Christmas tree a few days before the holiday - the children will have time to admire it, and you will be firmly sure that all last year's glass toys are intact, and the garland is checked and working. By the way, buying an LED garland will also reduce the preparation time, if not this year, then the next - it will not burn out, and accordingly, it will not take time to set it up. An artificial tree is much more practical than a real one. It can be assembled in five minutes, and besides, there is no need to sweep the needles several times.
Prepare your clothes
