For example, you know that at heart he is still a child who loves to play "war". Organize a paintball battle with your friends. Such a gift will surely please an adult boy.
Maybe it is worth giving a trip to a club or restaurant, to which the birthday person has long wanted, but will not be going to go.
It will be doubly interesting if the surprise is accompanied by mystery (blindfold, driving a car in an unknown direction, etc.)
